WHMIS, Canada’s right-to-know hazard communication standard, came into effect on October 31, 1988. It was developed by the collaborative efforts of government, industry and labor and is supported by both federal and provincial legislation.
In 2015, WHMIS across Canada was updated to match the international Globally Harmonized System (GHS).
This online training covers the updated system known as WHMIS 2015. This certification is valid for one year.
