This takes a psychological and physical toll on workers, requiring mental and physical care for themselves. We will be reviewing the Self Care for the Health Care Worker program and discussing how to use the Self Care Wheel.
Continuing Care/Disability Support Program (DSP) Initiative

The purpose of this collaborative initiative is to increase presence in the sector, to assess and build understanding of legislative requirements, to build relationships and a culture of safety compliance in the sector, to ensure positive compliance outcomes in the sector and to gain an understanding of issues faced by this Sector..We provide an update on this Initiative including some of the lessons learned and trends for the work to date.
Weathering the COVID-19 Storm – What’s next?

New and unprecedented circumstances caused by COVID-19 have resulted in high rates of depression, anxiety, and moral injury among healthcare workers. We’ll share research from Homewood Health, McMaster University, and the Homewood Research Institute on the 10-key pandemic-related stressors. We’ll engage in discussion about the need for resources and supports today and beyond.
