Jonathan Gillis is an Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator with Aware-NS, where he works with the team to develop and to provide Occupational Health and Safety training programs throughout Nova Scotia.

For over 20 years, Jonathan worked as a front-line health care worker at various long-term care facilities throughout the province. Jonathan hold his CCA Certificate from NSCC as well as a diploma in small business management.

Recently, having returned to university as an adult learner, Jonathan received his certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from the University of New Brunswick.

Outside of work Jonathan enjoys adventures with his family and spending time in the outdoors either hiking or ATV’ing.
