LEADERSHIP AND RISK ASSESSMENT
Step 2: Leadership and Risk Assessment
The employer is responsible for identifying the risk of violence in the workplace, using a workplace violence hazard risk assessment. The assessment is done in consultation with the JOHS Committee.
A workplace violence risk assessment is required every five years, or if there is a significant change that could lead to an increase or decrease of workplace violence. This can be caused by a change in, physical location (including renovation), scope of work conducted.
